Country-Style Cole Slaw
The perfect side dish to fried chicken and biscuits!
Yield: 8 servings
Ingredients

mayonnaise

granulated sugar

tablespoons |
cider vinegar
|
|
|
| 3/4 |
teaspoon |
salt
|
|
|
| 1/4 |
teaspoon |
dry mustard
|
|
|
| 1/8 |
teaspoon |
celery seed
|
|
|
| 4 |
cups |
coarsely shredded cabbage
|
|
|
| 3/4 |
cup |
coarsely shredded carrots
|
|
|
| 1/2 |
cup |
diced green pepper
|
|
|
| 2 |
Tablespoons |
sliced green onions
|
|
|
Directions:
In medium bowl, stir together mayonnaise, sugar, cider vinegar, salt, dry mustard and celery seeds. Blend well.
Add cabbage, carrots, green pepper and green onions; toss to coat well. Cover; chill at least 2 hours.
