Honey-Spice Acorn Squash

Ingredients

1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
4 medium acorn squash

Directions:

In a bowl, combine the honey, butter, salt, cinnamon and ginger.

Cut squash in half; discard seeds. Fill squash halves with butter mixture. Place in a greased 15x10 inch baking dish.

Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until squash is tender. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer. Serve four squash halves.

Drain and discard butter mixture from remaining squash; mash. Refrigerate mashed squash for future use.
